LikeA'13OSS Posted May 3, 2012 Report Share Posted May 3, 2012 I did a lab on the reducing sugar content of different fruits, where i did the usual benedicts test and obtained different colours and then I tested the colors using a colorimeter. Now what im not sure of is what the results from the colorimeter actually show! Since i didnt use any known concentrations i expect that there should be a relation between the concentration of reducing sugars and the absorbance value given by the colorimeter..do you know what the values from the colorimeter show about the sugar concentration?
