xddd
Hi, I'm doing my Works in Translation essay on One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, and there are a lot of quotes I'm using that contain swear words. Am I allowed to include them or should I omit them? Reply
Tony Stark
Quotations are acceptable, as far as I know, but only use such if absolutely necessary for your argument, just to be safe. Reply
kiwi.at.heart
My general rule was it I was aloud to read the words, I was allowed to use the words, so you should be fine, especially since usually vulgarity in the texts has a important purpose. I would just make sure that when you are using them that the quotes have a significant point to avoid the marker thinking your using vulgarity for the sake of vulgarity.
