Guest Humaira Posted May 23, 2012 Report Share Posted May 23, 2012 This is my first IOP and im doing The House of the Spirits ive narrowed my 10 min presentation topic for my proposal, th only problem im having right now though is writing how im going to present it to the class.Does anyone have any suggestions? blenderer Posted May 23, 2012 Report Share Posted May 23, 2012 My advice is to first write down the structure of your IOP on paper and make it very detailed the first time. Then practice doing the presentation with the aid of those notes. Bit by bit make your notes less detailed and keep practicing. This way, when you do the final presentation you can survive with notes of just the general structure, you don't have to start reading off the paper and your speech will sound natural.Remember to state the structure of the presentation in the beginning of the presentation, like "First I'm going to talk about...., secondly I will discuss...." This will gain you easy marks from Criterion B - Presentation. Also make it clear when you finish talking about one sub-topic and move on to another by saying something like "Moving on to..." etc. Reply Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
