stella013
Hello Does anyone know if the invigilator has to tell or warn you if they want to report you to the IB exam board because they suspect you of cheating during an exam? Summer Glau
Yeah they would tell you, it would be wrong of them to secretly accuse you of cheating and then surprise surprise you don't get your diploma on results day and you can't really protest the decision.Plus they would have to tell you to stop cheating, so... CkyBlue
I am pretty certain they would inform you if you were conducting a malpractise. There would be no point in letting you continue writing your exam and your other exams if they didn't inform you. Usually even if they suspect you of cheating, it's only fair to inform you because it's possible you are in fact, not cheating.Last year one of my buddies was caught using a regular calculator instead of an graphing calculator. He was informed and his actions were reported to the IBO. Reply
Miss_mischy
Beacuse of a regular calculator instead of a GDC? What exam was that for? We all had both in our Maths exams(not paper 1 of course with the exception of the studies people.) Reply
