em1111
Hi guys!I'm almost finished my TOK presentation and I want your opinions. My title of my presentation is: "How far is from reality we can say that human beings and computers know in the same way and have self awareness?" The knowledge issue had been extracted by an article from IBM blog. The title in one of technological blog's article is: "IBM's cognitive computing chip functions like a human brain, heralds our demise" right here . Do you think that is a strong knowledge issue? I can give a link to my work only through PMs. Thanks and have a nice day! Reply

em1111
I want to say that the knowledge issue above is strong enough for my presentation? Reply
Babydolleyes
I think you should try to reword your question, because it isn't clear enough. ''How far is from reality we can say'' - What do you mean? How unrealistic is it to say? I don't know how computers could ever have self awareness but I guess that is your knowledge issue. You would have to define self-awareness and apply it to the computers - I think your first step should be to make your question as clear as possible because if your class/teacher don't understand what your knowledge issue means, they won't be able to appreciate your presentation. Good luck! Edited August 23, 2012 by Babydolleyes Reply
GirlwiththeBlueBox
Yeah I'm with the others--- you should probably remodel your title so that it's easier to understand. Maybe 'To what extent do computers and humans share self-awareness?' At least that's what I got from your knowledge issue. Reply
