Pen or pencil

Recommended Posts

I don't know about drawing diagrams, but I believe IB requires you to use black pen when writing exams. At least, that's what I was told for essays in both English and History, because the examiners use a special colour code for marking which I'd assume they use across all subjects.

If you're doing Geography you're allowed to use coloured pens in your exams. However if you don't do Geography art black or blue pen.

For economics diagrams should be drawn using pencils and labelled in pen (might need to check this).

For french you could practice higlighting key passages in the exam booklet. This could save you a lot of time when answering the comprehension questions and is good practice.
