cricketcrazynerd
Kinda an offbeat question but can we write the IB exam in pen? or does it have to be in pencil? Coz then I should practise writing my class tests using that apparatus....Thanks Reply
Liliii
When I was in IGCSE we would write in pen and draw diagrams in pencil, I think it would be the same thing Reply
aldld
I don't know about drawing diagrams, but I believe IB requires you to use black pen when writing exams. At least, that's what I was told for essays in both English and History, because the examiners use a special colour code for marking which I'd assume they use across all subjects. Purplelily8
For IB exams its expected of you to use blue or black pen, and pencil can only be used for diagrams. Reply
ChocolateDrop
If you're doing Geography you're allowed to use coloured pens in your exams. However if you don't do Geography art black or blue pen.For economics diagrams should be drawn using pencils and labelled in pen (might need to check this). For french you could practice higlighting key passages in the exam booklet. This could save you a lot of time when answering the comprehension questions and is good practice.http://britannia.vsb.bc.ca/ib_venture/files/Tip%20Sheet%20for%20surviving%20exams.pdf Reply
