It really doesnt matter that much. The only point of group 4 is that you have to do it - the lab might count as another ib lab for internal assessment but absolutely nothing more. It is just a requirement for ib, and most likely won't even count for your final ib grade.

i just have a question, what is it exactly is it that you do in the group 4 project? our teacher doesnt exctly know =S like do we have to be four students taking the same subject or four students each taking a different subject??

The whole group 4 project is there because the ibo have a requirement of 10 or something hours for ib students to work on sciences they arent studying.

the school usually puts groups together so that there is atleast one physics, one chemistry, one bio, and one environmental sys in a group - but it depends if you have enough students in each science.

Each group has to design and carry out labs that are connected to all the different sciences
