Christian H.
I have an idea for a Math IA involving studying the mpg rate of the cars of three major car companies from 1990 to 2010 and how that relates to growing awareness in environmental concerns. I just don't know how to go about it or what type of math would be involved. Any ideas or advice? Reply
MLI
My advice to you is to don't use rates (mpg rate) if you are gonna draw graphs, because one of the higher level skills is to use X-chi squared test, which involves numerical data, but rates are not, so try to look and find other variables that are numerical.Good Luck! Christian H.
What's an X-chi squared test? Reply
MLI
Sorry, I mean X^2 (Chi-squared) test Reply
Christian H.
Well what about the amount of waste they release. Is that possible? Reply
