Bindi
Hello, I was just wondering which of the options are easier or more interesting from the Part 2: Options? and which ones have you guys studied? Abnormal Psychology?Developmental Psychology? Health Psychology? Psychology of Human Relationships? Sport Psychology? Thanks! (: Reply
Gaby
Well, I personally detested Sports Psychology, but you might as well love it. Human relationships are interesting but, yet again, to me. Do you have a free choice of options you're doing? Reply
blindpet
Human relationships for sure. Many students are probably seduced by abnormal but I find that it's actually quite dry. Developmental could be fun too. Didn't do sports or Health as part of my degree so I can't really comment. Reply
sarah95
I'm doing abnormal and human relationships. Found both quite interesting, personally think they're the best of the lot! Reply
Shahad
My school actually made me study sports psychology and abnormal psychology even though i only needed one option. I found sports psychology interesting but honestly, just a lot of different concepts.Abnormal psychology is simple and easy as many of the syllabus points are connected. I found abnormal psychology to be most interesting as there was a lot of the biological LOA involved which i really enjoyed. All in all i found abnormal psych to be the most interesting and easy. Also, if you are going to do two options, i'd recommend abnormal psychology and health psychology as they are connected. But in the end, go for what you find most interesting. Because you would be more motivated to study for that one. Therefore, you're more likely to do better at the option you're most interested in. Oxymoronic
I'm doing Abnormal and Developmental as I found these the most interesting topics and simplest to read. I was close to choosing Health, but the stress portion of the chapter frustrated me. But it really depends on what you enjoy most. Reply
psychologystudent501
I've not started my options yet, so this may not be the kind of reply you wanted to have, but I personally really want to do abnormal psychology, as it sounds fascinating! However, I just love psychology altogether Reply
MariJRA
I took human relationships and abnormal behaviour. I like human relationships, but i find abnormal behaviour kind of boring. Reply
The Rainbow Connection
I studied the human relationships and abnormal options. I prefer human relationships to abnormal, but that is a personal opinion. I actually enjoyed the core parts of the syllabus much more than the options. Alicia Maldonado
Don't take abnormal behaviour just... don't. Reply
Erasmusrasmus
Don't do abnormal... its not as cool as it sounds. I found it extremely boring and DRY. Nope, I don't suggest doing it unless you are interested in psychiatry and how to treat disorders such as depression. The other opition we did was developmental psychology which was really interesting! I really liked it. I think, if I got to pick which options I'd want to do, I would choose developmental and human relaitonships. Reply
