screweddd
Hi everyone, I need some help with my first TOK presentation. I have my RLS, and my KI but I don't know where to go from there. My KI is "What roles does ethical knowledge play in the formulation of laws?" My teacher keeps telling us to look at it from different perspectives (AOK & WOK), but all I see is ethics, reason/logic, and perhaps religion? I really don't know what to do! PLEASE HELP!! PLEASE HELP!!Ok so areas of knowledge are mainly the subjects you may look at in order to find answers for your main KI whereas ways of knowing are the ways through which you may find an answer. What this means is that you should now start thinking about questions which may help you answer the main knowledge issue. Example can be a sub KI under ethics: "How can we gain ethical knowledge" and/or "How do we define ethical knowledge" etc. You may find a sub KI for each WoK and AoK.Your format is going to be:- Present your real life situation- Present your KI derived from the real life situation- Talk about your intro: What you're going to talk about, your AoK and WoK.- Start talking about different sub KI that you have formed for each AoK and WoK, supported with real life situations.- In conclusion you just sum up the argument and directly answer your main KI with the help of the discussion you made for other sub KIs.Hope it helps Reply
