She told us we could use any World Literature works in any part of the course, however now she has figured out that only the works in part 1 can be used for WL1. So this means I will have to work with "the Old Man and the Sea" by Hemingway although I really, really, don't want to. Well, I guess I'll have to live with that. So, now, I'm forced to compare "the Old Man and the Sea" with "Pride and Prejudice". Personally I think the books are quite different from each other, so I have a hard time finding a relating aspect to compare. Do you guys have any suggestions? The only thing I can come up with is language, or maybe characterisation, but I want something more original.I chose Elizabeht and Santiago - heroes in different ways. You could just find a common aspect in the works, and then show how it's approached differently by the writers.
