Flowroma
Hi,Is it possible to redo an IB exam in order to obtain a higher grade? For example, I need a 40 for entry into university and I have only a 39. I want to improve my score for just one subject. Is this possible? And how long is this going to take me, can I just request to do an exam at a school or do I have to go through two years of education again? ak18
I think you can retake it in November again. But if you got a 39 you should probably contact your uni and ask them if its alright. I mean one point off...so Reply
bluedino
Yep, you should be able to retake in November. You don't have to redo 2 years of education November isn't actually that far away, so you should talk to your IB Coordinator now and see what you need to do to make this happen. You've probably considered it already, but I thought I'd mention it just in case you haven't - have you looked at your component grades and seen if there's any subject/TOK/EE where you might have a chance at going up a grade via a remark? That could be an easier way to get an extra point if you're close/borderline on any subjects.. Reply
