IBwanting2survive
Should i compare data with a friend to show accuracy? Im using standard deviation and other legitamite statistical tests but do u think it would be helpful to include a comparison maybe in my conclusion or is that unneccesary and not advised? Brienna
I don't think it would be a good idea to include it, as your friend is not a reputable source of facts (no offence to them, of course). Saying, "I think my data is correct because my friend thought so too" isn't a very strong argument. It may be acceptable based on how you word it, though. "Those who have performed similar experiments have also achieved similar results" sounds better. If you do include it anywhere, it would go best in the conclusion, but whether or not you decide to include it is up to you.Or, just totally disregard my advice. I'm new to this. IBwanting2survive
Thanks so much I think your right I probably shouldn't use their data because I can't be too sure whether they did it correctly. Thanks Reply
