IA Rollercoasters or Flight Routes?

I was trying to come up with unique and interesting ideas for my math exploration, then i got stuck.

I think it would be really cool to do something on;

1. Rollercoasters

But i dont know exactly what

OR

2. Spherical geometry and flight routes

But i dont know what exactly my exploration should revolve about (hehe, revolve).

Any ideas pleasee?
