TheGreatPumpkin
Quick question does the abstract word count, count in your final 4000 words??I've googled it, but google doesn't seem to want to be helpful. Thanks Reply
flinquinnster
Abstract shouldn't count - it's a separate 300 words. So you get 4000+300=4300 words, technically. Or at least that's how I wrote my EE and I'm fairly sure that's what the EE guide will say too. Reply

IBKID4lyf
ength All Extended Essays should be 3500 – 4000 words in length (roughly 19-20 pages). Word count does not include abstracts, contents, charts/tables, bibliography or appendices. Reply
