ezex Posted June 21, 2008 Report Share Posted June 21, 2008 Well, to tell you the truth, in our school this class is the class you take as a "breather". Not only is the teacher one of the smartest in the school, but you do minimum work and learn at maximum capacity. Meaning that we rarely work hard and still learn a lot. The class is supposed to teach basic ways of going about building new products to sell on the market. Overall, the kids who took the HL test say that they probably all got 7's since the test was a lot of common sense. And even the ones who never did anything in her class said they studied a week before and got a 6 or a 5 easy. So to answer your question, my opinion is take it if you need a break from IB IF AND ONLY IF there are no other IB electives you like and/or if you like engeneering.
