KaieraAi
I'm working on my extended Essay, and it's not a really big deal but I'm not really sure how and what I put in contents, in what ways do I need to break up my essay? Reply
1stblondealternative
Every major paragraph, or more paragraphs that are addressing the same subject, should have subheadings. Same goes for introduction and conclusion. Abstract goes before content page. Abstact, introduction and conclusion have to consist of research question in bold. Thus, your content page will consist of introducion, subheadings, conclusion, bibliography in alphabetical order and possible appendices.Good luck! theboro76
Also, a way to make it easier, is to use the default 'heading styles' on word (2007 and above I think). Then when you create a table of contents (via. the references tab), it creates it automatically, with page numbers, the headings, and levels of headings (depending on whether you use heading 1,heading 2, etc.). It also updates all of the page numbers, and headings (whether you add a new one or remove one or rename one), when you click 'update'.Its a fantastic feature Reply
