Comparing the book The Woman in Black with the movie.

Hi everyone, for my extended essay I'm comparing the book and movie version of The Woman in Black. I have decided that I will talk about how Susan Hill uses literary devices to obtain a gothic theme in her book while James Watkins uses music and like all those movie things to obtain a gothic theme. How reading and watching a movie have different impacts on us. Is there anything else I can talk about while comparing and book and movie?

Well I'm trying to show how they pretty much changed the story in the movie version...how the characterization changed and such..
