help with understanding IA criteria

Hello guys,

I'm currently writing my History IA while checking out the criteria for it.

In section D, which is the Analysis, it says that it should include:

• an awareness of the significance of the sources used, especially those evaluated in section C

• a consideration of different interpretations of evidence, where appropriate.

Can you please help me understand what these two bulletpoints actually mean and require? Since I cannot seem to understand them.

Thank you in advance!

Basically just discuss the sources you talked about in your source analysis part, and make sure you reference how important they are. The different interpretations bit is easy - just discuss different ways the evidence could be analysed, so different perspectives that could arise from the evidence, and then your perspective as a result.
