ibquestionerer
Dear anyone reading this,I would be so grateful if anyone could tell me which one of my topics you think is better, regarding the criteria of the IB, wanting the EE topic to be very specific. An criticism on them is welcome:1)To what extent has the price fixing of the Japanese car-part scandal affected the "big three" American auto manufacturers?2) To what extent has the recent price fixing of a Japanese car-part cartel affected the "big three" American auto manufacturers between 2000 and 2010?3) To what extent has the recent price fixing of a Japanese car-part cartel affected the US car market between 2000 and 2010?Any way that I could be more specific, or should I leave something out? PLEASE HELP, thanks in advance. Reply

'affect' the market? in what sense? i don't think they're focused enough.. i could be wrong, but that's what i feel Reply
lbb
The second one looks pretty good, compared to the others. However I am not sure if it is focused enough. I would propose that you would focus on one of the "big three," instead of talking about all of them, that gives you the ability to go more in depth. I am also not sure if the time range is appropriate, however I am not familiar with the topic so I can't really judge. I would suggest writing an Outline for your essay. This way you can see how many main points you will have and if you have to focus your question even more. For a standard essay, I would propose not to have more than 3 or 4 main points. Good luck!
