Which referencing format to use for Economics EE

Hello,

Which referencing format would be the most recommended to use for an EE in Economics?

I know that there are many possibilities, but with which one am I assured not to go wrong no matter what?

I would ask my supervisor but unfortunately I can't.

What do you guys think?

I have used this for my Extended Essay and my other internal assessments throughout the IB program and I have had no complaints or negative comments towards my bibliography.

As far as I'm informed about the regulations by my supervisor when I did my EE I had to use the harvard method of referencing, which the IB system preferred. So listen to julien

You don't have to choose the Harvard style if you're not familiar with it. IB has no specific referencing requirement. Choose any format you want (APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, other referencing styles I'm not familiar with, etc). The only requirement is that it has to be a major recognized format (like those above) and you have to be consistent with it, which just means use that referencing style for your entire paper and not switch halfway through your paper to another style.

I ended up using Harvard as I also recalled hearing about somebody else in my course using it for their eco EE.

I guess that'll work.
