mechnight
As a child, Harry Potter, The Famous Five series, Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda) and a few ex-Yugoslav books about students and dorm life with the WW2 hanging above their heads. Little did I know that I'm gonna live through the dormitory part - it actually resembles the books a bit Starting high school, I got hooked to A Solitude of Prime Numbers, by Paolo Giordano. I've loved it ever since, rereading it at different points and always managing to find something to relate to. However, the IB has been an eye opener for me, because previously I didn't get in touch with English literature so much, or better to say, not at all. So the book I fell in love with was Gatsby, and afterwards 1984. Reply
