Badalyan
Hi, I need additional practice on understanding of the syllabus in order to get a 7. Do you know any good textbooks or programs that might help me polish my understanding? Reply
Guest
Khan Academy has great material to practice from in all subjects. Try A-Level books for some help. Since I'm from India, I can suggest some great books that my friends use here, but I'm not sure if it will be available to you easily. Nevertheless, out national curriculum books are more complicated so we use those question banks, and the competitive exam question banks. More sites: Rutgers Physics, Georgia Public Broadcasting, The Physics Classroom, HyperPhysics. Hope this helps. Reply
r1111
Make sure you have the study guide and Hamper book. Also get the IB Prepared book for HL Physics. Reply
Garrett !?
I use the Tsokos IB Physics book and the Oxford Press IB Physics Study Guide. Together they cover all of the syllabus for SL and I think all of the syllabus for HL I know the Tsokos book has HL only sections and the study guide does, too. Fiddler
Our class is also using a physics textbook that the non-IB classes use, by a James S. Walker. It's mostly good for practise problems and it doesn't have everything, but it's pretty good for the core requirements. Reply
