TOK Prompts Thread

Figured I'd make a thread where people can share things they've read/seen/watched in their daily lives that could be neatly shoe-horned into some excellent TOK bull**** for essays, presentations and so on. Feel free to share your own!

Some of them are actually interesting in their own right, but please don't post things unless you can also make some TOK out of them...

Well, let's see.

I remember talking about this a while ago in ToK:

I talked about this, specifically: "Warning! The following article is from The Great Soviet Encyclopedia (1979). It might be outdated or ideologically biased."

That had some interesting implications, about who decides what language means, and if language can be ideologically biased, etc.

For logic, discussing fallacies is always a fun topic, especially pointing out a fallacy in a person's/article's argument.

If I think of any more, I'll come back and post them.
