I was thinking about trying to present something that is related to aviation or psychology. If you guys and gals have any topic suggestions that are related to aviation or psychology please tell me! Thrashmaster Posted September 12, 2014 Report Share Posted September 12, 2014 Aviation? Yeah, that is kind of a weird one for ToK. ToK is about knowledge - what it is and how we get it. If you aren't talking about that, using the ways of knowing and areas of knowledge for reference, then you aren't doing your ToK presentation correctly. That's slightly oversimplified, but I don't think aviation is the way to go. Psychology is more in line. You can take many psychology theories and use them as lenses for the ways of knowing, and then give the limitations of the theory as well. Add a few real life situations, and bam! ozymandias24 Posted September 26, 2014 Report Share Posted September 26, 2014 If you wanted to talk about aviation, you could do something about racial profiling at airports, the efficacy of security scanning or even the irrational fear of flying and air crashes.
