pwoperfish
Okay, that may not have been the best way to frame the question. Basically, I've done a little over 1800 words on my EE (and rapidly progressing) but I haven't included any quotes from other books or critics. All the sample essays I've seen have some analysis based on other critics'/authors' views on the text they have chosen. I can't do the same because my book isn't too well known and any paper on it is about the cultural and not literary aspect. So my entire essay (so far) is based ONLY on my own analysis of the book. Is it compulsory to refer to others' as well? Reply
bethiedrama101
I would try and reference some sort of other work, it gives your essay CC's and also makes it look more well rounded. Reply
