irenesme
My school has 28 in Mathematics SL and it is really crowded. I would prefer having a smaller class because I need tons of teacher attention in math. There is around 24 students in Math Studies SL.No Math HL at my school. : ( Reply
Vvi
We are 6 in Math SL and 6 in Math Studies. No one does HL, they didn't even try to. Come to think of it, no one does Chemistry or Physics either. We're not science-orientated at all.But I'm glad I'm in Math SL, the people in our Studies class are really slow. At least I have a challenge now. Reply
IB_Thailand
There are 4 people in our Math HL class, 3 dropped to SL or Studies. A class of 3-10 students with a good teacher are perfect for the I.B program. Reply
TeeBlake
So there are 2 people in the Maths HL class, and 5 in the Maths SL class. Only 7 doing the IB dip while one doing certs.Don't you prefer smaller classes? Makes it so much better, however, the other girl in my class has been absent for a few weeks, so the class gets ever so boring.haha...niice...we have 33 people, and not including the person who is absent, and numbers are still growing...i'm in math slwe have a total of around 80-ish people in diploma program... ladyting
wow! in our school there are about 30 people taking Maths HL..and that's just IB2, not counting IB1.of course there's also a lot of people taking Maths SL, cause Maths Studies isn't offered at our school... bingbangsurvivor
IN My school, this year there are 16 persons taking Math HL with me. It's just a bit 2 much and teachers make bets of how many of us will drop it and how soon. In SL there are roughly the same numbers and only 2 or 3 take Maths Studies. And yeah, I think smaller groups are better, especially in maths. Edited September 18, 2008 by bingbangsurvivor Reply

saya
Our school has loads of people at HL, but then, we are all divided in subgroups. I, a SL Maths student, am in a group of 7 people. There is another group of SL students. But we are just 7, and it is like heaven (I made it rhyme haha) Reply
