Guest WizErnest
I am doing a presentation on how video games portray controversial themes like, women, violence, and immigration, etc. But I don't know where to go from there. What I have so for is some discussion on perception, language, reason, and emotion, in terms of video games. I was thinking of talking about how important context is to the portrayal of such themes. Should I going down that path or go some alternate route? Reply
Noticeably Absent
Personally, it sounds really interesting. Just make sure, you can somehow make it personal and not too broad, and that includes several AOK. Reply
Tintinnabulation
Sounds good, you should probably explore a specific area, like analyzing modern American culture, violence, and a specific genre or series of games. Reply

Video games are a pretty standard route for quite a few students, so you're not really in uncharted (hehe) territory. You'd need a particular AoK for this, i'm assuming you're going to be exploring Ethics? Then yes, it seems like a pretty safe path really. You'd have plenty to talk about!
