susanne
So, the English exams are coming, how are you, or how did you memorize quotes for the exam? I've tried reading through my materials a few times and tried taking down notes, but when I write them down, I sometimes get the wording wrong, in that event, would you be pennalized if you quoted wrong words in the exam? Blackcurrant
No. What I was told by tutors and examiners of English on another site ( for IB English studies)was that examiners aim to *give* you marks rather than deducting them. If you got the quote almost right, that's still very good. Memory is not perfect. They know that. Mai
I think it would also depend on what texts you have, all of my texts are plays so I think the quotes are quite easy to remember. To remember the quotes, I try visualising the scene and what they are saying. This is how I remembered the quotes, it seems really stupid but it actually works. Anyways good luck for exams tomorrow I hope we all get 7's Reply
