CopperPipe
I've been thinking of doing my Math SL IA on the infinite monkey theorem (perms and comms; it's not the most complicated topic on the block, I know), but was disappointed to discover after some initial research that it's already been analyzed to a considerable extent. (quick wikipedia search) Am I allowed to do an IA on a topic that's already been so extensively researched? Thanks. Reply
yammy10
You could, but the chances of you actually getting a good mark is very slim. If you were to do it on a topic that has already been extensively researched you'll have to find an aspect that wasn't as well researched. Hope that helps Reply
