Could anyone give me advice on an FOA presentation?

Any ideas I could use?

My topic has to be about the media and related to advertisements, speeches, political cartoons, bias in articles, etc. I was thinking about doing a political cartoon which has to do with sexism?

Also, how would i talk about the cartoon for 5-10 mins?

Thankyo

You have to identify features that make an advertisement/speech/article effective and/or how the work relates to gender/power/society/culture. For the FOA it is easier to do it on an advertisement or sth short and visual cause you can show it in class before your presentation. Do you have anything related to what you want to do yet? If you don't, start the other way: find sth you like and then find what you can analyze about it that relates to this part of the course.

Hello Carolina Adams,

The FOA, further oral activity, expects you to examine such a topic! If I were you I would keep to an advertisment! There are many anti smoking advertisments that have plently to examine such as, but no limited to, slogan.signature, copy, image, aduence effect etc.! If you do about 3 of those, 10 mins will be enough!

Good look out there in the world mate..

And remember

Dont forget your culture!
