Guest Sonia Posted December 15, 2014 Report Share Posted December 15, 2014 You have to identify features that make an advertisement/speech/article effective and/or how the work relates to gender/power/society/culture. For the FOA it is easier to do it on an advertisement or sth short and visual cause you can show it in class before your presentation. Do you have anything related to what you want to do yet? If you don't, start the other way: find sth you like and then find what you can analyze about it that relates to this part of the course. If I were you I would keep to an advertisment! There are many anti smoking advertisments that have plently to examine such as, but no limited to, slogan.signature,copy,image,aduence effect etc.!
