2cool4IB
45 ofc, but a more realistic score would be 35-40. As long as i get 7 in Chemistry, Psychology and Physics , im happy. 2 Reply
pashkaa8
Yeah, the goal of all IB students should be 45, but in a more realistic way I think that if I get at least 36 points from subjects + 1-3 points from EE and TOK, then I will be satisfied. GissellaGamboa
Mine is 45, however I given my subjects and struggles I plan on scoring a 42 and obtaining +3 points from my EE and TOK essay. Reply
corbyndaskuxx
Well for Getting Into The Uni I Want I Need 32 So Preferably 37+ but a 40+ Would Always Be Nice To Talk About Edited February 25, 2015 by corbyndaskuxx Reply
Tom Hiddleston
If 45 is the maximum, why not strive for 46? Breaks the internet and the IB world by receiving an overall IB mark of 46/45. 2 Reply
mac117
My dream score is any score that will get me into my university of choice, which is something around 39-42 points with 7s in my HLs.I will probably be aiming for 45 in the beginning,I think most of us are. To get beaten by IB. everyday for 2 years and then later beat the IB with a prefect score - what a feeling that must be 3 Reply

Guest
Hey guysI think i could live with a score of around 35+ Reply
eoeoeo3
45 is always the dream but I already know that sadly, that probably isn't possible for me. Realistically, around 40-42I'd be ecstatic to achieve a 7 in chemistry, a 6/7 in biology, a 7 in history, a 6 in English, a 7 in french, and a 6 in math. I'm aiming for 35+!! p.s. this post is actually quite motivating I agree, it is quite motivating. It reminds me of my goals, keeps me on track I find that repeatedly seeing where we want to go and what we want to achieve helps us to keep focus on acting (rather than speaking) to make those dreams reality yeah, it totally is MOTIVATING. I was about to respond that I'd be happy with 35, and I don't feel the need to prove anything to anyone. But then I thought about my dad. I want him to be proud of me. Thank you for the topic P.S.Any study/revision tips??? (just one month left till may 2015! ) 4 Reply
DannyRodeck
Anything over 38 would be amazing actually Reply
BusinessTommy
I think people writing that they want 45 points are unrealistic. Of course, everyone wants max,no one would say no to that, but it is not enough to think:"I am a good student, I do all my work so I should get full score".Its an extremly tiny part of all candidates that get even over 40. On topic:I would be highly satisfied if I got 35 points and 38 would be perfect 5 Reply

Clockwork
45 not good enough, gotta get 45+, at least 50. Gotta fulfill that Asian stereotype. 3 Reply
Noticeably Absent
What's the highest? 45? Well, there you have it.I really don't see a reason for anyone to aim below that, especially IB students (as they are academically inclined).I see that you're not in IB yet; anyone can say that their aim is 45. But once you're really in the system, you start to be realistic and then aim for a manageable score Reply
afern98
of course my dream dream score is a 45, but my more realistic dream score (if that even makes sense) is 39+. My top choice university requires a 38 so I want to be over that. Reply
donaa
somewhere around 35-37ofc I also want 40+ like everyone else but lets be realistic here 5 Reply
Rosalina
Ideally, a 45 would be my dream score, but I'd be happy with a mark of 38+ Reply
