IA IB MATH SL IA ON JUMPING? HELP!

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

I have to do my math IA right about now, and I started with the idea of discussing horse jumps (where the apex/ maximum height is always the same) and then linking it to something like graphing the jump as a parabola where the start and end distance from the maximum are the same

but im really confused as to what type of math topic i could use..

math equations and parabolas? (too simple? )

kinematics and projectile motion? (if yes, HOW?)

displacement?

PLEASE help with ANY idea possible or any suggestions!
Thanks :)
