Heidi :)
Hi guys! I'm just looking for some feedback for those who have done a chem EE or are planning one etc on my ideas so far. I'm really interested in forensics which is what led me to discover chemiluminescence. In the reactions used to discover blood on crime scenes, it is the iron in blood which catalyses the reaction, causing it to start and glow. I want to look into the effects of different catalysts on this reaction based off either transition metals and the space in their d orbitals or electrode potentials (advice from someone else - I don't really understand it yet as we haven't been taught it yet.) I just want your opinion on whether this topic is going to 1. Advanced enough 2. semi-successful 3. appropriate for an EE. Thanks a million y'allHeidi x Edited May 9, 2015 by Heidi :) Reply
