Kamen rider baron
So my grade 11 end of year exams are in a month, I have started preparing but I still a feel kind of worried, how can I cope with my stress especially about math? Reply
turtle turtle
Maths is a subject where if you start thinking about your exam rather than the question itself, you waste a lot of time and can't read the question properly. Revise enough so you feel confident you have all the tools (formulas etc...) to do any question, and so you don't feel handicappedDon't shake your leg around and breathe heavily, just read the question and think about itRealise it's not the actual exam and won't actually count! If you encounter problems, good, you can fix them before the REAL examFeel like it's an easy paper. If you think it's gonna be hard, you'll overcomplicate the situation! good luck! turtle turtle
Oh and also play classical music in your head but don't get it stuck. This helps put a fake kind of calmness upon you Reply
Schrodinger's CAS
Good advice from Vladimir, but I would like to point out that while these exams may not count towards your final IB grades, they do greatly effect your predicted grades. Oh I'm making things worse aren't I ? What is it about math that you are having trouble with? If it's because of not understanding the concepts, may I recommend this revision guide put together by Mr. Muench: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/22153685/IBMathsStandardNotes.pdfStressing about it only makes it worse, try to relax and focus on studying. You're do fine 1 Reply
