Alex Jordan Posted May 18, 2015 Report Share Posted May 18, 2015 My parents both only graduated high school, so when they found out I wanted to go to college, they were enthralled. They do expect very high standards for me - if I get lower than like, a B- on something, they'll flip their ****. It's kinda annoying. Whenever I don't do well, they try to push me into pushing myself to do better rather than straight up telling me to work harder. They motivate me and just want me to reach my potential but it's so hard I hate disappointing them. She doesn't put pressure on me and my studying, she's not interested in it because she knows I'm doing well.
