What are your parents like?

Recommended Posts

My parents both only graduated high school, so when they found out I wanted to go to college, they were enthralled. They do expect very high standards for me - if I get lower than like, a B- on something, they'll flip their ****. It's kinda annoying.  :dash:

They weren't so accepting of my personal identity though - hence why I'm so glad I'm going away for university.

My parents don't really check my marks at all, but when I'm like crying cuz I did bad on a test or something, they are not understanding at all. They just say: study harder even when I did.

My parents are pretty supportive. Whenever I don't do well, they try to push me into pushing myself to do better rather than straight up telling me to work harder. They motivate me and just want me to reach my potential but it's so hard :( I hate disappointing them. Love them to the moon and back for everything they've done and continue to do for me

My mother, the only parent I have, is pretty supportive. She doesn't put pressure on me and my studying, she's not interested in it because she knows I'm doing well. Heck, she doesn't even know which grade I'm in XD

Our relationship kinda changed when I came out to her this past Friday, but I hope she'll understand and will stop to be angry at me...

Despite that all, will still love her forever and ever <3
