What is an interesting conspiracy theory?

My friend showed me incredible conspiracy theory once about how the IB was trying to push a communist/socialist agenda on America and that the IBO was supposedly founded on this agenda. I wish I could remember where it was from because it was hysterical.

Ever heard of MK Ultra? It was (is?) a CIA project attempting mind control. Regarded as an unfounded conspiracy for decades but proven to be a real program (officially now it's been cut) after some documents were declassified. Google it!

I have never heard of MK Ultra but I have heard of a certain Project Blue Book that the CIA and the Government had covered up.  It is thought that soon after it was mostly leaked, the CIA released the rest of the documentation regarding Project Blue Book.  Quite the mystery, I might add.

There's one about how the US had prior knowledge of Pearl Harbour, but chose to allow the Japanese to attack them so that they can enter the war. Apparently Roosevelt received a classified telegram from Churchill, warning him of the attack. Then, the US strategically relocated three of its aircraft carriers on the day of the attack.

 

I was going to write my History IA on this, but my teacher said it was more of a conspiracy theory.

If I remember correctly (and most of this is from a discussion with my friend who found the website and a teacher who found it hysterical), a lot of the reason behind it was because the IB takes a certain amount of control away from school boards because of how they organise things externally and so a number of American school boards pinned this as a Communist agenda and refuse to allow the IB in their districts!

 This one is pretty famous and I have heard about it. The story goes like this: US government's major business revolves around arms and ammunition deals. However, as the new millennium began terrorism had almost vanished from the surface of the earth. Therefore, to boost sales US government conspired with Al-Qaeda to give people the idea that terror does still exist. However, it has not been proved and the assassination of Osama does speak otherwise (maybe it can a hoax too or it might have been executed to keep his mouth shut - who knows!!!).

In 1950s MIT ran experiments with Quaker oats (a cereal manufacturer), in this experiment they fed mentally disturbed children radioactive meals to test the effects!!! This is really EVIL!!!

The assassination of Osama (who worked for the US btw, which is fact, look it up anywhere) was a hoax. He died of natural causes a while ago. There was no proof given to us of his death and the whole we 'buried him in the ocean'.... like how much GMO food do you have to consume before you can believe such rubbish.

 

I wouldn't say profit is the only motivation, it is too simplistic doesn't address a lot of other issues. The real reasons appear to be much more sinister
