Guest
But you are gonna be in IB2 right? So u will have to catch up all the stuffs that you peers have done, it wouldn't be wise. Reply
Pink97
I don't think it's going to be possible. The material you cover in Part A of the course is what you do your IOP (individual oral presentation) on. In part B you study 2 pieces of literature and you're expected to write a written assignment (+reflective statement) on one of them. Part C is detailed study - your IOC can be on any of the texts you've done in class. Part D is related to the essays you have to write for Paper 2. Most schools tend to go in chronological order so most will have at least covered part A and B this year. Both parts involve an internal and external assessment, respectively. It'll be really hard for you to catch up with all that work. Even more so if your new school has started part C as it's ''detailed'' study so the selected texts will be covered in much more depth than those studied in part A and B. I recommend you get your current school's IB coordinator in contact with your new school's one to sort this issue out. Something will obviously need to be done if you absolutely must switch schools..perhaps you'll have to catch up with everything over the summer? I don't know.
