Rosalina
You posted this in the wrong topic. This should be in Pre-IB or IB discussion. Anyways, Math Hl is really hard and you should only be doing it if you want a career that majorly revolves around maths. Reply
Emmi
^ which economics does. It's highly math intensive at the university level, and most top economics schools require it. HL math is more difficult, but it's not this impossible thing people make it out to be and it's very possible to do well. English HL is good for journalism. Law really doesn't have specific requirements (though it's been said that essay based subjects such as literature are a good preparation). Your subjects are fine for economics. Your subjects seem fine for any of those possible career paths. 1 Reply

footballfan12
Yeah those subjects are fine for those careers. Law isn't as demanding in terms of pre-requisites and what not but what you have there is just fine. If you like history then maybe you might want to substitute that in for one of your courses because not only is it great for law but it requires a lot of essay writing which would aid in your journalism aspirations. Although in saying that, taking history is certainly not a must. English HL is great for journalism but does require a lot of skill/effort to achieve higher marks.
