simransawhney
Just curious, what's the difference between Language A1 and A2? My school has A, B, and ab initio but no difference in A. Reply
jcbrnko
A1- Pure litterature (Should be taken with your first native language, or in the language you feel most efficient)A2- A sufficient amount of literature with some grammar studies (Second Language, should have close to or near fluency to be in following these courses) 1 Reply
ellie
There is no more A1 and A2! I thing it was removed a year or two ago. A2 used to be for people who were close to native level but not native speakers. Now there's only one A level; B is for those who've studied at least a couple years, ab initio is for total beginners. Ellie is right. The new syllabus (2013 onwards) only comprises of A: Literature and A: Language & Literature - both courses are mean't for native speakers. 1 Reply
