alext
Hi guys, is there a minimum number of activities we need to have in order to complete the CAS program? Or is it so long as we pass the 50 hour mark for each section and partake in each objective at least once? Thanks in advance Reply
ShootingStar16
They don't count hours this year. For us, we just need twelve activities and we have to keep doing CAS over the course of the two years and each activity has to fulfill at least one of the 8 learner outcomes. One has to involve two of the three categories and another has to show a sense of global awareness. Best bet is to ask your CAS coordinator about whether or not they're counting hours though because every school does it differently. Reply

Guest
It depends from school to school, but the essence is as above. There are eight learning outcomes and you have to cover each one twice in total. There's also a 'CAS project' - I don't know the official name, it's what our school's dubbed it - which must involve two of the domains and involve collaboration. The rest of the details lie with your school (for example, we do a CAS project which must cover collaboration and two to three other outcomes, six majors (two from each category) which cover two or three outcomes, and ten one-off activities). So, check with your school. Reply
