Is studying 4 HL subjects worth it?

My friend wishes to study law at university and since she doesn't have an account, she asked me to ask this question on here: is it simply worth it studying 4 hl subjects, if one doesn't wish to specialize in something that requires such (such as Biology HL, Chemistry HL, Physics HL, and Math HL, but simply arbitrary subjects) since she wants to do law, anyway, which requires no subjects at all, although History/English Lit HL could be recommended. Do universities think it's more prestigious to have done so, will this give her any sort of advantage at all when it comes to applying and being admitted to these universities (specifically in the UK)?
