beth-
My friend wishes to study law at university and since she doesn't have an account, she asked me to ask this question on here: is it simply worth it studying 4 hl subjects, if one doesn't wish to specialize in something that requires such (such as Biology HL, Chemistry HL, Physics HL, and Math HL, but simply arbitrary subjects) since she wants to do law, anyway, which requires no subjects at all, although History/English Lit HL could be recommended. Do universities think it's more prestigious to have done so, will this give her any sort of advantage at all when it comes to applying and being admitted to these universities (specifically in the UK)? Emmi
If she wishes to study in the UK, it doesn't matter at all. She won't get any extra considerations for doing 4 versus 3. She can do them if she wants and feels like she can handle the work, but let her know it doesn't give her any special advantage to do so.
