Rosalina
I got back my first mock IA and got an 18/24. I was wondering if this a good mark to strive for or if I should aim for better? Thank you. Reply
Guest
In my opinion, always aim high. Aim for 24, and if you get even five less, you're still doing really well. 18 is a good way to start the year, but don't try to keep your grades consistent - always try to do a little bit better. For next time go, "Okay, let's try to get it to 20" then "22", and slowly build to 24. You don't need to get there immediately, but aim for the moon so if you fall short you're still amongst the stars (or something like that.) Rosalina
Thank you for your respone I'd thought I'd just ask because our teacher told us that it's very rare to get a high mark so I wanted to see if I'm on the right track. I'll make sure to try my best in everything I do. Reply
Guest
Personally, when teachers say 'it's rare to get a high mark', I believe you should take it as a challenge. Kind of like, "Please, I'm going to show you up because screw you, that's why, don't tell me what I can and can't do." Maybe a little too spiteful, but it does make sure I work hard to prove them wrong ^^ Reply
Hamza Hassan
a good grade is not a numerical number but a grade in which you had put in all of your effort. Work hard and a 7 will be a walk in the park Reply
