akmanra99 Posted December 27, 2015 Report Share Posted December 27, 2015 Hi all, I was also thinking about doing a Math SL IA on music, specifically piano, and analyzing chords, scales, and other music theory stuff with trig. I was also planning on analyzing a famous musical piece, such as Moonlight Sonata, and finding these mathematical patterns in the piece itself. However, I'm a little concerned that this is an overdone topic and that the math might be a little too simple.
