What does your weekly timetable look like?

wow... I have 8 subjects, which means 6 IB, Ceramics and Scolpture and one Study hall.

we have an 8 day rotation schedule, so all my courses change every day. I find it very confusing and not helpful in the least. But oh well, it's not like they will listen to me anyways... I asked for 2 study halls, since I'm taking HL Chem and SL Computer Science, which are hard courses (at least in my opinion), but I didn't get an extra study hall, however, my friend who has all easy subjects, such as Design Tech and 2 "Humanistic" subjects, has two study halls, in which she does absolutely nothing. My school is really unfair...

I leave the house at around 7:15 am and usually come home at around 4:30 pm every day except for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Other than that I have a full schedule with less free periods (or rather study hall periods :b) than last year. =.= Plus two exams every Wednesday morning and at the end of each terms (we have 3) a week full of exams from every subject. :/

When I compare my schedule to the ones who are doing AP in my school... Gosh. They got so much free time! O_O

Well...right now I'm procrastinating, but...

Monday-Friday

5:15 am- 6:00 am: Wake up, eat breakfast, catch the bus to school

7:00 am- 7:15 am: Prepare for schoolwork, see teachers, etc.

7:15 am- 8:46 am: Spanish or Chemistry (alternates every other day)

8:54 am- 10:25 am: Teacher Assisting Research or Biology (alternates every other day)

10:30 am- 11:37 am: Theory of Knowledge (every day)

11:40 am- 12:05 pm: Lunch :)

12:10 pm- 1:45 pm: Math or English (alternates every other day)

Every Monday we have Mentoring from 8:54 am- 9:20 am and all the other times are moved later, so we're in school longer.

The times are also sometimes changed for pep rallies.

Monday from 2:00 pm- 2:45 pm are Youth in Government Officer's Meetings

and then from 3:00 pm- 5:00 pm I lead the Biology study groups.

Tuesdays I either have Mu Alpha Theta meetings or Spanish club meetings from 2:00 pm- 2:45 pm and National Honor Soceity meetings once a month.

Wednesdays I have Mock Trial from 2:00 pm- 3:00 pm and Youth in Government from 6:00 pm-7:45 pm.

Thursdays I have Rho Kappa meetings and Poetry club meetings from 2:00 pm- 3:00 pm and from 6:00 pm- 8:15 pm I have dance practice.

Fridays are Robotics Team meetings from 2:00 pm- 3:15 pm and volunteering at a local elementary school once a month.

Saturdays from 9:00 am- 3:00 pm I volunteer at the Humane Soceity, if I'm not a retreat for Youth in Government or something...

Sundays I have church from 9:45 am- 12:00 pm and dance practice from 12:15 pm- 2:00 pm.

I hope I didn't miss anything?

I do school-related stuff when I'm home and sleep and eat when I can. :P

I can't wait until I get out of high school!

School from 7:00-3:00. Homeroom and Break is 20 min each. Lunch is like another period. Wednesday schedules are a little different since we get released earlier. Anything in white is a specific school requirement.

The schedule used to be a whole lot more confusing because we had the rotating day schedules, like some of you guys have now but they've gotten rid of that.

9 day system here (crazy or what?)

I get 13 free periods ever nine days (not counting lunch), and there is one day when I don't get a lunch break

Official school day 8:40-3:45

Tuesdays and Thursdays theater 4:15-5:30 (creativity)

Fridays Swimming 4:15-6:00 (action)

34 hours 25 minutes a week + 2 hours 30 minutes theater

Periods last 45 minutes

there is 15 minute break between period 3 and period 4

there are eight periods a day, one of which (period six) is in theory lunch, in practice some classes get scheduled then anyway.

11th grades can leave campus if and only if they have no more classes that day, all eleventh graders must attend homeroom even if this is followed by free periods, 12th graders get senior privileges which includes the right to stay in bed if they have frees first thing.

does anyone else have classes during lunch?

well, our timetables look a bit like this:

8:20 - start school (1st period)

9:35 - period 2

10:50 - morning tea (aka 1st break)

11:20 - period 3

12:35 - period 4

1:20 - lunch!

2:05 - period 5

3:20 - end school

total of 7 hrs a day at school...urgh how depressing

That's because you have morning tea (wtf). Without it, your schedule is much like mine. Your lunch is a bit too late for my liking though... I'd be starving around period 3, which I guess is why you have morning tea. :/

Naaah... mine was completely full from 7 am to 3 pm. I have 4 subjects in High level and an extra subject that is not in the IB diploma. I didn't have a single free period, and to round it all I am in almost absolutely every extracurricular activity that ocurred to me, so sometimes I went home like at 5 pm. As it is understandable, by the end of the first semester I was completely fed up, so I quit the extra subject. Now I have 4 free periods ;)

Just like many North Americans have never heard of a 2 hr break... we're accustomed to 1 hr.

(I'm making a major assumption here, so correct me if I'm wrong... I've definitely only ever had 1 hr lunches during my first 13 years of schooling)

I'm not even sure what I would do for 2 hrs when I was still in high school.
