Sandy
Hi, I recently started a blog (its about IB) and I was wondering if I should include it for my extracurriculars. I know a blog can be included, but I'm not sure if its a good idea to include mine as it might decrease my chances of getting in. Can you go through my blog and see of its good enough to tell the universities about it? Thanks! Reply
Leah Vinny
Hey I really think you should include it. It's a very useful blog, and if you keep it up they might just think your really smart because like your advicing people on IB. Sandy
Hey I really think you should include it. It's a very useful blog, and if you keep it up they might just think your really smart because like your advicing people on IB. Hey, thanks. The only reason I don't want to include it is that I've mentioned stuff like "I'm a procrastinator" "you don't need to do much for CAS" "IB is bull****" directly or indirectly and I was thinking maybe it would reduce my chances of getting in if they know about this as the blog could possibly show that I'm lazy and as I don't have any activity related to CS (for which I've applied). IB_taking_over
If it doesn't have an academic merit, it's not worth putting on there. Since you mentioned it reflects "I'm a procrastinator" "you don't need to do much for CAS" "IB is bull****" type of thing, I would suggest leaving it off.
