TheMountainGoat
Hey,I know that there is another topic (that is pinned) that has tips for the FOA, but I was just wondering how exactly do you show understanding of Part 1? (Criterion A) I understand the whole analysis part, but I don't want my presentation to be boring as I feel like my mark could possibly suffer. I don't exactly want to say "The author does x, and as such readers are positioned to feel y?" How have you guys (people who have done part 1 FOA) gotten good marks? Thanks 1 Reply
Vincent17
I received 8 marks out of 10 for criterion A, and I basically talked about the context of my text - constantly supporting every point with evidence from a text. I wish the best of luck to you with your presentation. Reply
Monica Tujur
Hey Guys! My teacher refuses to tell us our FOA marks on the pretext of the FOA being a form of IA and IAs are subject to moderation. Does this happen in your schools too? Is there any such rule? I feel significantly disadvantaged because I am not able to reflect and understand my errors. Please help me as I have another FOA coming up. Thanks!
