MariamXO Posted February 4, 2016 Report Share Posted February 4, 2016 So I'm taking HL English A Lang&Lit and was wondering if I could still get a 6 or even a 7. On my FOA I got a 6 and for the IOC I got a 5 (I know it's bad). I've done one written task in which I got a 6 as well. Gaby Posted February 4, 2016 Report Share Posted February 4, 2016 Percentage breakdowns (aka grade boundaries) are set AFTER your exams. They're based on a bell curve and depend on how well the exam was written around the world. You can use grade boundaries from previous years as a guidance, but the ones in your year can differ a bit or a lot. It is probably possible for you to get a 6, depending on whether your 6s in internal assessments are high or low ones. Also, your exam forms a big portion of your grade, and you don't know how well that will go.
