Andrew
As a Maths HL and Physics HL student, the calculations you are required to do in the accounts section of the course are simply ludicrous. You can perfectly derive the necessary formulae for pretty mush any problem you encounter without the need to memorize the tens of formulas in the book. I was just wondering, will the IB penalize me if I, for example, calculate the slope of the line to find the growth rate and the intersection of two lines to find the break-even, instead of using the cumbersome formulae?
