Malwina Skrzypek
Hello everybody! I want to study medicine in Australia and I was wondering if there are universities that accept studies? I get 4s in math standard without any studying. Due to chemistry hl I don't have much time to study math and therefore my second question is do you think I should take studies and after I finish my IB diploma take an extra course? Would it be better to take studies and get better grades in general because I'll have more time to study and then take an extra course? Reply
kevG
My university counselor gave us subject prerequisites for different countries and for medicine in Australia it says "may require HL Chemistry, Physics or SL Mathematics".So it's to your advantage to have SL Mathematics if you're aiming for the GO8 Universities 1 Reply

YourPrincess
Yes you can get into medicine with maths studies in Australia. You need to take an exam called the "UMAT" which takes place in June I believe. Along with the UMAT you need to need to achieve an IB score of at-least 39+ but each Uni has their own expectation.
